Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart (ankle) missed another practice on Thursday and is doubtful to play against the Chargers in Week 15. Stewart has missed the last two games with injury, after rushing for 336 yards and one touchdown in nine games this season.
Jonathan Stewart injury: Another missed practice could up the fantasy value of DeAngelo Williams
Williams had his best game of the season on Sunday with Stewart out. We break down the fantasy implications.

In his place, DeAngelo Williams has carried the ball 29 times for 123 yards in the last two games. Williams added two catches for 56 yards and a touchdown on Sunday against the Falcons in a 30-20 Carolina victory. Overall the Panthers have struggled to run the ball this season, with Stewart averaging 3.5 yards per carry and Williams averaging 3.6 yards per carry.
Fantasy Take: Stewart most likely will not play and it’s another interesting week to start Williams, coming off of his best game of the season. The Chargers are a top five run defense however, making Williams more like a flex play than an RB2.
