Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson (knee) was limited on Thursday but still looks set to start on Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals. Johnson's knee has kept him on the injury report for most of this season but he has not come close to missing a game. It also has not kept him from having one of the most productive seasons in NFL history.

Johnson has already matched his career-high in catches (96, set last season) and with three games left is well within reach of Jerry Rice’s single-season record. In addition to that, Johnson needs 454 more yards to become the first 2,000-yard receiver in league history. Not impossible for Megatron, he has 429 yards over his last three games and is averaging 138 yards per game over his last six.
Fantasy Take: The Cardinals actually had a pretty good pass defense until they surrendered 58 points and 493 total yards to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 15. Patrick Peterson is becoming an elite defender, but Johnson is just a very special player. It's hard to believe that he only had 80 total yards in Weeks 6-7 of this season and is getting so close to Rice's record.
At this point it almost seems like the question isn’t whether or not Johnson will break the record, but by how much?
