Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin (groin) is active for Thursday night football and will start against the Cincinnati Bengals. Maclin is coming off of a season-high nine-catch performance against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 14, adding in 104 yards receiving and a touchdown.
Jeremy Maclin is active on Thursday and starting: Fantasy implications
The Eagles receiver has been cleared to go, despite a short week of rest. We break down the fantasy implications.

This helps alleviate a rather disappointing season for the Philly receiver, averaging only 53.8 yards per game compared to the 66.1 yards per game he had last season and the 10 touchdowns he scored in 2010. Nick Foles will be the starting quarterback, though Michael Vick was finally cleared by doctors for a concussion.
Fantasy Take: It’s nice that Maclin is active as he was expected to be, but don’t discount the short rest. Crazy things happen on Thursdays because of the ridiculous short amount of rest these players get. The Bengals have allowed the 6th-fewest passing touchdowns and are 6th in the NFL in yards per passing play allowed.
Maclin rates as a flex play in Week 15.
