Green Bay Packers running back James Starks will not play against the Chicago Bears on Sunday due to a knee injury. Starks missed practice all week and did not play last week against the Detroit Lions.
James Starks injury update: RB out, Alex Green gets slight fantasy boost
Green Bay Packers running back James Starks will not play against the Bears on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

With Starks out, Alex Green will get the start at running back. Starks has only appeared in six games this season, with 255 yards and one touchdown.
Fantasy Impact: Starks is not a strong fantasy option even when healthy. The Packers running game is too unreliable to depend on anyone involved as a starter. Green had 13 carries for 69 yards against the Lions last week.
The Bears will pose a tough matchup for Green, who wouldn’t be a solid starter against a weaker team. In a pinch he can serve as a flex option.
