ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Seattle Seahawks CB Richard Sherman has an appeal date set for Friday, two days before a divisional showdown with the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night. Sherman is fighting a four-game suspension for PEDs (possibly Adderall).
Richard Sherman has appeal date set for Friday: Fantasy implications
Richard Sherman will have his suspension appeal heard on Friday, and could be done for the regular season. We break down the fantasy implications.

If the suspension holds up, Sherman will be forced to sit out the Niners game and would not be eligible to return until either the conference championship game if Seattle makes it that far, or early in 2013.
Fantasy Impact: As one of the best corners in the league, Sherman's possible absence will have multiple shock waves on both sides of the ball. Brandon Browner is already serving his suspension, and with Walter Thurmond and Marcus Trufant battling injuries, the Seahawks' normally elite defense would be very exploitable in the secondary.
This is obviously good news for Colin Kaepernick, Michael Crabtree and company. Their fantasy value would be a major boost if Sherman is forced to sit out.
