Fantasy football waiver-wire advice, Week 16: Running back options for championship Sunday
Which running backs are on the waiver wire to help you clinch your fantasy football Super Bowl?

The running back pool is thin this week, but fantasy owners shouldn’t ignore the free agent backs. A few running backs have upside in Week 16. Here are the three best running backs to keep an eye on.
1. Mark Ingram, New Orleans Saints - Mark Ingram had his most effective game on the ground this season last week, rushing for nearly 100 yards and a touchdown. Ingram isn't a huge part of the offense normally, but maybe this strong performance will get him more involved. If you're desperate for a flex, he's worth a shot.
2. Mike Goodson, Oakland Raiders - Mike Goodson is finally healthy again and functioning as Oakland's primary backup behind Darren McFadden. Goodson piled up over 100 total yards on Sunday against the Chiefs, and the Panthers are next up on the schedule. He should be able to provide some relief for fantasy owners in deeper leagues.
3. Danny Woodhead, New England Patriots - Danny Woodhead was the only Patriots running back that could hold onto the football on Sunday night against the 49ers. He rose to the occasion, scoring two touchdowns on the ground and providing Tom Brady with a reliable option out of the backfield. The Patriots are playing against the Jaguars on Sunday, so Woodhead's workload could be big again, even if he's relegated to garbage time, since New England will be playing with a lead all game.
