Sanders failed to record a reception after seeing just one target last week. His snaps played and receiving yardage have declined every week for the last four weeks. He has yet to score a touchdown since Week 9 against the New York Giants.
Fantasy Impact: Sanders' playing status for Week 16 against the Cincinnati Bengals is unclear, but you may want to avoid him as a fantasy option regardless of his health. Mike Wallace's fantasy value has been revived with the return of Ben Roethlisberger, definitively making Sanders the Steelers' No. 3 receiver on the depth chart. Sanders is difficult to recommend even as a WR3, especially if he is limited at all by his ribs injury.
