Dwayne Bowe may be finishing his last year with the Kansas City Chiefs, according to the Kansas City Star. The sixth-year wide receiver was given the team's franchise tag before the season, which means he will be an unrestricted free agent when the season is over.
Dwayne Bowe stint with Chiefs could be over: Fantasy implications
Dwayne Bowe may not return to the Chiefs next season, according to reports. We break down the fantasy implications.

Bowe was placed on injured reserve last Saturday due to a ribs injury. He will finish the 2012 season with 59 receptions for 801 yards and a career low three touchdown receptions.
Fantasy Impact: The Chiefs apparently haven’t made much progress in contract talks with Bowe, and there hasn’t been much indication that either side really wants to make a deal. Anything is possible, but a change of scenery for Bowe may be best for him and the organization.
Bowe is still an immensely talented receiver. A lousy quarterback situation hampered his fantasy value this year, though he still had some big performances early in the season. Bowe still struggles with consistency at times, but he could be a legitimate No. 1 receiver on several NFL teams. His fantasy value may improve next season depending on the destination.
