Head coach Mike Mularkey said Wednesday that MJD is still "questionable" for Sunday. Rashad Jennings failed his concussion test, meaning that if Jones-Drew can't play, Montell Owens would likely once again handle rushing duties by himself.
Fantasy Impact: Jones-Drew’s fantasy prospects souns a little better this week, but until we find out he’s practicing, owners should temper their expectations. Mularkey has seemingly called Jones-Drew “questionable” every week for the last month, so the designation is meaningless at this point.
If Jones-Drew can play, don’t assume big things from a fantasy perspective. After a long layoff, he may be limited while he shakes off a considerable amount of rust. The net result could be that neither Owens nor Jones-Drew are viable fantasy options.
