Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Cecil Shorts (concussion) was held out of practice on Wednesday, two weeks after suffering the head injury against the Bills. Shorts returned from the injury on Sunday and caught six passes for 101 yards against the Miami Dolphins.
Cecil Shorts concussion: Missed practice Wednesday, should not miss fantasy championship week
Jacksonville’s rising receiver could eclipse the 1,000-yard mark this Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Shorts has 49 catches for 925 yards and seven touchdowns in his second NFL season. Jacksonville takes on the New England Patriots in Week 16.
Fantasy Take: Shorts has quickly become must-start status for the fantasy championships after putting up solid fantasy points in seven of his last eight starts. He has four 100-yard games and five touchdowns during that span.
New England has a bad pass defense and Chad Henne should be targeting Shorts early and often. This missed practice is likely just precaution.
