The Florida Union-Times reports that Jacksonville Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew (foot) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the New England Patriots. The news does not come as a surprise--Jones-Drew hasn't been able to practice since suffering a foot sprain in Week 7.
Maurice Jones-Drew ruled out, as expected: Fantasy implications
Maurice Jones-Drew has been ruled out once again. We break down the fantasy implications.

Montell Owens is expected to get the start again with Rashad Jennings still recovering from a concussion.
Fantasy Impact: It’s a mystery why the Jaguars simply haven’t placed MJD on injured reserve yet. He’s never come close to returning and there would be no point to rush him back in a meangingless Week 17 game.
Owens is running at a nice 5.2 YPC since becoming the starter, but he’s a really uninspiring fantasy play. You can do better at your flex spot for the title games.
