New York Jets owner Woody Johnson is vouching for Greg McElroy to start over Mark Sanchez in Week 14 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News. General manager Mike Tannenbaum and offensive coordinator Tony Sparano reportedly still prefer Sanchez.
Greg McElroy earns support of Jets owner: Fantasy implications
According to reports, Jets owner Woody Johnson would like to see Greg McElroy start Week 14 at quarterback ahead of Mark Sanchez. We break down the fantasy implications.

An official decision is expected to come at some point during the week. Sanchez struggled mightily against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, going 10-for-21 passing for 97 yards and three interceptions. He was benched in the second half in favor of McElroy, who went 5-for-7 for 21 yards and a touchdown.
Fantasy Impact: It looks like we have a good old-fashioned quarterback controversy on our hands. Whatever decision is made could ultimately say a lot about how Johnson feels about the job his GM and coaching staff have been doing this season.
What fantasy owners really need to know is that neither Sanchez nor McElroy should be targeted in any format at the moment. Tim Tebow still appears to be dealing with a rib injury, but the same advice goes to him.
