Jacksonville Jaguars appear ready to start running back Montell Owens this Sunday, per the Florida Times Union. With Maurice Jones-Drew (foot) still sidelined and Rashad Jennings (concussion) out, the Jags are in a tough spot.
Montell Owens to start for Jags in Week 14, a risky fantasy play
Jacksonville Jaguars RB Montell Owens appears to be in line to start on Sunday. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

They will go deep into their roster, going with an attack-by-committee against the New York Jets on Sunday. Owens will lead the way in Week 14, but should be joined by Richard Murphy and former Charger Jordan Todman.
Fantasy Analysis: The one reason Owens could work out this weekend is because of his opponent. The Jets are a calamity -- a no name running back having a field day on them seems like the next logical step.
However, the Jags will likely go with a pass-heavy attack against the Jets’ secondary. Owens is a gamble as a low-end flex option in Week 14.
