Terrell Suggs is seeking a second opinion on the torn biceps injury he suffered Sunday during the Baltimore Ravens' loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Ravens head coach John Harbaugh suggested Wednesday that the defensive end could play this weekend against the Washington Redskins if he wanted to.
Terrell Suggs seeking second opinion on torn biceps, fantasy status hazy
Terrell Suggs is seeking a second opinion, but Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said Wednesday that the defensive end could play Sunday with a torn biceps muscle. We break down the fantasy implications.

Suggs called himself a game-time decision, and suggested that he would only play if he knew he could be effective. He has had a disappointing year since being named the NFL’s Defensive Player of the Year after the 2011 season. He has just two sacks since returning from a torn Achilles’ tendon in Week 7.
Fantasy Impact: Even if Suggs plays, it's clear he won't be at 100 percent. While that may be enough to make him an effective player for the Ravens, it likely won't be enough to fill up the stat sheet for owners in IDP leagues. The safer play would be to sit him this week, then check back on his status for Week 15 against the Denver Broncos.
