Clay Matthews missed practice Thursday, fantasy prospects dim
Clay Matthews missed practice Thursday, and does not appear likely to suit up for Week 14 against the Lions. We break down the fantasy implications.

Matthews' playing status for Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions looks doubtful at this point. The Packers' sack-master has now missed three straight games.
Fantasy Impact: Matthews had six sacks through the first two weeks of the 2012 season, and nine total through Week 7. He is an IDP goldmine when healthy, but unfortunately for owners he has been unable to get back on the field in some time now. The Packers are certainly a worse Team D/ST option as a result.
It’s hard to recommend dropping Matthews altogether. He still has some value for owners if he can make a late-season return. Unfortunately, it appears he will be just taking up space on your roster this week.
