With Greg Jennings out for the game, Jordy Nelson stepped up and attempted to take over the No. 1 receiver role. He managed to haul in six receptions for 84 yards on the night, be a couple drops marred what could have been a great all-around performance.

While he didn’t blow any away with his performance, Jordy Nelson led the Packers in receiving on Thursday night. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Nelson dropped an easy slant route pass to open up the game, then later missed a deep toss that was on the money from Rodgers. He wasn’t as sure-handed as always, but he did manage to put up decent numbers, considering the Packers offensive struggles throughout the night. Nelson is the go-to-guy when Jennings is out, and even when he returns, Nelson will still be a focal point in this offense.
