Baltimore Ravens WR/PR Jacoby Jones has the No. 3 WR position locked up, but his role on special teams continues to be reduced. According to the Baltimore Sun, Jones is splitting punt return duties with CB Lardarius Webb, while rookie WR Deonte Thompson is working kickoffs. Jones played in 27-of-62 snaps in Week 1 and caught all three targets for 46 yards in a blowout win over the Cincinnati Bengals.
Jacoby Jones Not Running Away With Punt Return Job Or Fantasy Value
Jacoby Jones is splitting punt return duties with Lardarius Webb. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: The Ravens have been quick to point out that nobody has a lock on the return jobs, and the playing time will be based on game state. Translation: they don’t trust Jones on full-time duty. He was maddeningly inconsistent in his time at Houston, including a crucial muffed punt in last year’s playoff loss, and the Ravens will want him to earn more playing time. Jones isn’t worth starting outside of very deep leagues.
