John Skelton is inactive for Sunday's game between the Arizona Cardinals and the New England Patriots. As a result, Kevin Kolb will start the game. Skelton left last week's season opener in the fourth quarter with an ankle injury. He was unable to practice this week.
John Skelton Inactive, Kevin Kolb To Start Sunday: Fantasy Implications
John Skelton is inactive for Sunday’s game between the Cardinals and the Patriots. We break down the fantasy implications.
Fantasy Impact: Kolb looked very good when pressed into emergency action last week, going 6-of-8 passing to lead the Cardinals on a game-winning drive over the Seattle Seahawks. Whether that makes him a viable fantasy option is up to you, but we'd advise you to heed history here and not make a rash decision. If Kolb is able to take over the starting job in Arizona, he could eventually be worth fantasy consideration. For now, you should be able to find a better starting quarterback in standard leagues.
