Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte was held out of Wednesday practice with an ankle injury that he suffered in week 2 against the Packers and head coach Lovie Smith says that the team is ready to go with Michael Bush if Forte isn't ready by Sunday. Forte carried the ball just seven times against the Packers on Thursday night, while Bush was less effective with 54 yards on 14 carries in relief. Julius Peppers also missed practice, but Smith felt confident that he'd be able to return by tomorrow.
Matt Forte Held Out Of Practice, Fantasy Owners Should Be Ready With Michael Bush
Bears running back Matt Forte missed practice on Wednesday with an ankle injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Analysis: Bush was a valuable pickup in relief of Darren McFadden last season, but the Bears offensive line hasn't proven to be very good and Bush has just 3.7 yards per carry on his first 26 attempts of the season. He can't be confused with having nearly the same amount of value as Forte, but anyone that owns the Bears starter should have Bush on their bench and ready to go if necessary. Forte's status will be a lot better know by tomorrow or Friday.
