Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith was held to season lows in catches and yards on Sunday during a 19-17 loss to the Packers.
Torrey Smith disappoints fantasy owners with just 12 receiving yards in loss
It was tough sledding for the Ravens offense on Sunday, as Torrey Smith hauled-in just one catch during the loss. We break down the fantasy implications.

Smith recorded just one catch for 12 yards, and it did not come until the fourth quarter. The Ravens offense sputtered for most of the game and with Smith locked down, that's no surprise. Quarterback Joe Flacco completed a pass to eight different receivers, and though he was able to capitalize on a few deep completions to Tandon Doss and Marlon Brown, Smith was left out of the equation as the Ravens struggled to sustain drives for most of the game.
Fantasy Spin: It is a rare day that Smith is nearly shut out, especially in context with the amazing season he has had thus far. He entered the game third in the NFL in receiving yard, trailing just Jimmy Graham and Julio Jones. Smith had never been held to fewer than 85 yards in a game this season, but his remarkable run came to a screeching halt. Smith only had four targets in the afternoon, trailing Doss, Brown and tight end Dallas Clark in the pecking order.
Despite his bad day, Smith remains a high-end WR2 with WR1 potential next week, despite having a matchup with the re-energized Pittsburgh Steelers next on the schedule.
