Fantasy impact: Fantasy owners were glad to see Jackson find the end zone, especially considering the lack of certainty the Buccaneers have at the quarterback position, with rookie Mike Glennon being given the starting job in Tampa Bay for what looks like the rest of the season.
There's no doubt that the Buccaneers possess a talented running back in Doug Martin, but they will also need the passing game to help carry the load and keep the young Buccaneers competitive. That's where Jackson and teammate Mike Williams will have to step in.
Where Williams in particular seems to need steady play from his quarterback in order to produce decent fantasy numbers, Jackson is a rare physical specimen and has the size and athleticism to be able to haul in balls that most receivers would find difficult to get their hands on.
He was able to perform well last year with Josh Freeman as his quarterback and there's no reason that Jackson shouldn't continue to do so under Glennon.
