Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Mike Glennon completed 26 passes for 273 yards and two touchdowns in a 31-20 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 6. Glennon also threw one interception in the game.
Mike Glennon notches above average fantasy numbers
The Buccaneers’ rookie QB kept his team in the game against the Eagles. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Although Glennon's second career NFL start didn't exactly come against an intimidating defense, he did enough to keep his team and his fantasy owners in the game on Sunday. The fact that he only turned the ball over once during the entire game was also a good sign when you consider that Glennon threw two picks and fumbled the ball in his NFL debut against the Arizona Cardinals last week.
Another good sign for Glennon's owners is that he's discovered the power and reliability in having an elite wide receiver to throw to. In Sunday's game, he connected with Vincent Jackson nine times for 114 yards and both his touchdown passes. It was clear the Eagles' secondary provided no match for Jackson and Glennon was smart enough to take advantage of it.
Going into Week 7, Glennon will face an Atlanta Falcons defense that saw New York Jets rookie gun-slinger Geno Smith throw three touchdowns against it.
