Fantasy impact: If not for injuries and a guy by the name of Adrian Peterson, McCoy might very well be considered the best running back in fantasy football over the last several years. Luckily for his fantasy owners, he is currently the best back in the game, leading the league with 630 rushing yards through six games. That's an average of 105 yards per contest.
The only blemish on McCoy’s day was a lost fumble but its always a good fantasy day when a running back can put together 171 total yards from scrimmage. McCoy continually displays the ability to dodge tackles and break a game open this season and Week 6 was no exception.
Coming up in Week 7, McCoy goes up against Dallas Cowboys run defense that gives up just under 83 yards a game on the ground, good enough for fourth in the NFL. That said, McCoy is the type of player you have to have in your starting lineup regardless of the matchup.
