New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady completed 25 passes for 269 yards and a touchdown in the team's 30-27 win over the New Orleans Saints in Week 6. Brady also threw an interception in the game.
Tom Brady edges Drew Brees in fantasy showdown
Brady out-dueled his Saints counterpart Drew Brees in Week 6. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: The highly touted debut of tight end Rob Gronkowski (arm, back) was put on hold yet again by the Patriots, leaving Brady to run a passing game by committee, which he managed to do well against the battle tested Saints. Brady compeleted passes to eight different receivers in the game, with Aaron Dobson leading the way with six catches for 63 yards.
Anybody hoping to have a handle on which Patriots receivers or running backs to own week-to-week these days is probably developing bald spots on their head. The Patriots are finding ways to win without the names you’d expect to see in the receiving game.
One thing that is certain is that whenever Gronkowski comes back, he will be Brady’s game breaker, as the Patriots don’t really have anybody who can break a game open in the passing game right now.
In Week 7, the Patriots take on a New York Jets team they beat narrowly in the second week of the season. There's no telling who the fantasy studs will be for the Patriots, but Brady's fantasy owners have to start the future Hall of Fame quarterback regardless.
