Atlanta Falcons tight end Levine Toilolo could be in line for more playing time, according to head coach Mike Smith, as reported by Vaughn McClure of ESPN. Smith said that Toilolo is coming along as anticipated, and that he's "going to be a very good threat, especially in the red zone," before saying that more two-tight-end sets "would be an option for us."

The question came up due to the shaky situation at wide receiver. Coming into the season, Atlanta arguably had the best one-two punch at wide receiver in the NFL, with Roddy White and Julio Jones. But the former has been injured all season (and has played, not allowing said injury to heal up properly), while the latter is now out for the season with a foot injury.
Tony Gonzalez is the starting tight end, and has been targed 47 tmies, with 33 receptions. He’s Matt Ryan’s top target at this point, but could definitely use some help. Toilolo has only caught five passes this season, but two of them were touchdown passes. Smart money is on him getting more playing time going forward.
Fantasy Impact: There have been some breakout players and some very disappointing players at the tight end position. If you’re a fantasy owner who ended up with the latter and Toilolo hasn’t been picked up yet, you absolutely need to pick him up. He’s not a must-start by any means but the watch is officially on for fantasy owners. Starting him could pay off in the very near future.
