Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll says that wide receiver Percy Harvin will not be practicing this week. This all but confirms that he will be ruled out for Thursday's game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Percy Harvin won’t practice this week, not ready to help fantasy players yet
Percy Harvin continues to make good progress, but the Seahawks aren’t ready to clear him for practice on a short week. We break down the fantasy implications.

Harvin is eligible to come off the PUP list this week and the team continues to be encouraged by his progress, but they’re not willing to let him practice on a short week. The Seahawks have 10 days to rest after the game, so Harvin could make his return as soon as Week 8 against the St. Louis Rams.
Fantasy impact: Harvin’s personal Week 7 prediction was always a bit unrealistic, but it sounds like he will be back a lot earlier than the original timeline of Thanksgiving or early December. It may take him a couple weeks to get up to speed in Seattle’s offense, but he could be a huge boost to fantasy teams making a playoff run down the stretch. As of this writing, Harvin is owned in just 43 percent of Yahoo! leagues. Grab him while you still can.
