Chargers rookie wide receiver Keenan Allen's rise to notoriety continued with a big output during a 19-9 win over the Colts on Monday night.
Keenan Allen racks up 107 yards and a touchdown for fantasy owners in win over Colts
The Chargers’ rookie receiver continues to turn heads this season, and did so by hauling-in over 100 yards for the second straight game. We break down the fantasy implications.

Allen scored the only touchdown of the night, and also racked up 107 yards on a career-high nine catches. His biggest moment resulted from a highlight-worthy touchdown catch, where Allen sprawled out in the end-zone and corralled a pass by Philip Rivers while double covered. It was good enough to give the Chargers the lead, and it was one they did not surrender.
Fantasy Spin: If owners in keeper leagues and deeper leagues haven’t taken note of Allen yet, now is the time. That’s now back-to-back 100-yard games for the rookie out of Cal, who was involved early and often and quelled any concerns about him only tacking-on yards and catches with the game out of hand.
Allen is the latest dark-horse receiver on the Chargers to become a boon to fantasy teams everywhere, in similar fashion to Malcom Floyd and Danario Alexander in past seasons. And like his predecessors, Allen has enough raw talent to turn those opportunities into something special, which makes him worth starting consideration in Week 7 versus the Jaguars.
