The Buffalo Bills will likely have wide receiver Stevie Johnson back in the lineup for Week 7, according to Mike Rodak of ESPN. Johnson had a tough week after injuring his back in Week 5. The injury was followed up by a death in the family that excused him from practice all week, and he eventually missed the Week 6 game.
Stevie Johnson likely to return for Week 7, fantasy value iffy with quarterback uncertainty
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson is likely to return for Week 7. We break down the fantasy implications.

It’s unclear to what extent his back was injured, however. The team didn’t state whether or not they kept Johnson out of last week’s game due to the personal issue, his back injury, or simply a combination of the two keeping him out of practice all week. It seems like a player of Johnson’s caliber wouldn’t need to practice to be ready to go on gameday, so it seems likely he was out with an injury or a personal day.
Both of which are understandable. It will become more clear as the practice participation reports come out later in the week, but it sounds like Johnson should be ready to go this week.
Fantasy Impact: Even if Johnson is ready to go his fantasy value this week is debatable. It's unclear who his starting quarterback will be: a possibly-injured Thaddes Lewis or newcomer Matt Flynn, who has failed to catch on with his last two teams. Johnson isn't much more than a mid-tier WR3 option this week, but you can do a lot worse.
