Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle is taking the first-team reps at practice on Wednesday, according to Todd Archer of ESPN. Randle, a rookie, seems to have a lot of upside, though as a fifth-round pick, he is quite raw at this point.
Joseph Randle taking starting reps in practice, could be worth a fantasy look in deeper leagues
Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle is taking the starting reps in practice. We break down the fantasy implications.

DeMarco Murray is the starter in Dallas, but he's dealing with a knee injury and won't play in Week 7. His backup, Lance Dunbar, is dealing with a hamstring injury and is also slated to miss the game. This means Randle will likely see the lion's share of the reps in practice and will likely make his first career start.
Murray’s injury is a sprained MCL, meaning he could miss multiple weeks. Randle has only carried the ball 11 times thus far, and has a paltry 17 yards and a touchdown to show for it, but this will be the first time he’s getting significant work with the starters in practice.
Fantasy Impact: Randle isn't exactly a top option, but if you depended on Murray, Randle seems like a solid play. In deeper leagues, he might be worth a pickup if you can spare the roster spot as well. He could easily break out and nobody doubts his skillset at this point. The Cowboys take on the Eagles in Week 7, who rank right in the middle of the pack in regards to run defense, with 105.7 rushing yards allowed per game on average.
