Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Marcedes Lewis (calf) will practice in full Wednesday, according to the Florida-Times Union's Ryan O'Halloran. Lewis wants play in the team's Week 7 game against the San Diego Chargers. The Jaguars go-to tight end re-injured himself in Week 1 against the Kansas City Chiefs after playing just two snaps.

Fantasy impact: Though the Jaguars’ offense is generally considered anemic, Lewis can string together over 50 catches during the course of a full 16-game season and he scored an impressive 10 touchdowns back in 2010. After a disappointing 2011, he had a slight bounce back in 2013, catching 52 passes to go with seven touchdowns.
Overall, those numbers aren't exactly the type that make him a top-notch fantasy tight end, but quarterback Chad Henne is a veteran who can at least move the chains better than teammate Blaine Gabbert, so a successful return to the lineup pits Lewis nicely into a second-tier tight end.
With teammate Cecil Shorts (shoulder) in doubt for the team's Week 7 game, Lewis would be the most reliable option in the Jaguars' passing game outside of star wide receiver Justin Blackmon. In Week 6 against the Broncos, Blackmon caught 14 passes for an outstanding 190 yards receiving. As for Lewis, fantasy owners lacking depth at tight end will want to stash him on their bench.
