Fantasy football projections, Week 7: Bears vs. Redskins featuring Jay Cutler, Matt Forte and Robert Griffin

The Week 7 matchup between Chicago Bears and the Washington Redskins could be a fairly lopsided affair. We've got all the fantasy projections for you courtesy of numberFire.

Quarterback Jay Cutler has taken his game to another level fantasy wise this season. Going into the game against the Redskins, Cutler has thrown for twice as many touchdowns (12) as he has interceptions (6). He's also averaging the most passing yards per game he ever has as a member of the Bears (271.7). A large part of that can be attributed not only to coach Marc Trestman and his more up-tempo offense, but also to sophomore receiver Alshon Jeffery, who is cashing in on his talent and has emerged as one of this year's fantasy studs, giving Cutler another target he can throw to down the field besides Pro Bowler Brandon Marshall.

There is no doubt the Bears passing game will have a field day against the Redskins, who have given up an average of 315 passing yards per game in the last five weeks. Whenever they need a change of pace, the Bears will rely on running back Matt Forte to carry the load on the ground. Forte is currently averaging just under 74 yards per game this season, which is the second-highest average of his career. Forte has never faced the Washington Redskins, but fantasy owners can still bet on him having a good game this week.

In what looks like a lost season for the Redskins, it has become quite clear that star quarterback Robert Griffin III is simply not 100 percent healthy after tearing a ligament in his knee in a playoff game against the Seattle Seahawks last season. Although Griffin is averaging a career-high 289.6 yards per game this season, he only has six touchdown passes compared to five interceptions to show for it. To add to that, he has no rushing touchdowns this year after running for seven last season and is averaging less than 30 yards a game on the ground compared to the 54.3 yards per game he averaged as a rookie. The combination of team defenses adjusting to the pistol offense and Griffin perhaps not being fully healed from his ACL surgery have a lot to do with that.

In order to lead his team to their second victory of the season, Griffin will have to rely on running back Alfred Morris, who will be charged with the task of trying to break through a tough Chicago Bears defense. Morris had a spectacular rookie season that saw him average just over 100 yards per game on the ground and yet this year that number is closer to 75 yards per game. There is no doubt that he and Griffin will have to work hard to get to the level they were at last year and even if they do, they will be in tough facing the Bears in Week 7.
