After taking over in his last two games, Vincent Jackson finished with five receptions for 79 yards on a team-high 13 targets in Week 8 against the Panthers. Rookie quarterback Mike Glennon struggled throughout the night and didn’t seem to be in sync with his No. 1 target.
Vincent Jackson puts up 79 yards for fantasy owners on TNF
The Buccaneers passing game was tough to watch on Thursday night. We break down the fantasy implications.

Jackson caught four touchdowns over the last two weeks. Glennon clearly favors him in the passing game, but the Panthers didn’t seem to have an issue stopping the deep ball.
Fantasy impact: Even on a night where nothing seemed to go right, Jackson still managed to finish with a decent amount of yardage. Surely owners are let down after back-to-back monster performances, but Jackson has always been somewhat boom-or-bust. Seventy-nine yards is decent.
The Bucs head to Seattle next week for what could be an absolute nightmare. Jackson is still a must-start, but temper your expectations. Glennon won’t enjoy the 12th man crowd and constant pressure from the Seahawks defense.
