Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub missed the team's Week 7 game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Even with the bye week to rest up, Schaub won't return in Week 9 when the Texans play a crucial home game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Matt Schaub injury: Fantasy football value sinking with possible torn ligaments in ankle
Things seem to be getting even worse for Matt Schaub.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Schaub has torn ligaments in his ankle. While that has not been made official, Texans coach Gary Kubiak did say that Case Keenum will start against the Colts.
Fantasy spin: Schaub didn’t have much fantasy value left, even before the injury, so this may be a step up for the Houston offense. Keenum didn’t dominate by any means, but he held his own against the Chiefs a few weeks ago. If he can maintain that level of play, Houston’s wide receivers should be worth starting.
The Texans’ offense is far from the fantasy goldmine many thought it would be this season, but Keenum might be able to keep things afloat.
