New York Giants running back Brandon Jacobs said his injured hamstring feels great and he expects to play in two weeks after the Giants' bye week, according to Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News.
Brandon Jacobs injury: Fantasy value gets a boost with return approaching
The Giants’ running back depth chart will get a welcome addition coming out of the bye week.

Vacchiano added that Jacobs thinks he could have played on Sunday but wanted to be cautious with the injury. He missed two games with the bum hamstring and the bye week couldn’t have come at a better time.
Fantasy spin: Jacobs was actually playing well before his injury, so he's worth keeping on the fantasy radar. With David Wilson injured, the Giants' depth at running back has been tested this season. Jacobs signed with the team midseason, and Peyton Hillis was picked up to fill in as well.
Jacobs is worth adding if an owner in your league put him back on the waiver wire while he was injured. If you’re starving for running back help, Jacobs may be valuable.
