Fantasy impact: it has been quite a lost season for Wilson. He was projected to be a top fantasy play the entire year and was most likely drafted in the first three rounds of your league. From the first game, Wilson found himself in coach Tom Coughlin’s doghouse due to his knack for fumbling the football.
In what has been an unexpectedly atrocious first half of the season for the Giants, they actually find themselves just two games out of the lead in their division, albeit without a proven running game.
Andre Brown (broken leg) is expected to make his return for the team in Week 10, which will bolster the solid play of Peyton Hillis the last two weeks.
Brown found the end zone eight times in just 10 games last season and although Wilson’s season isn’t over yet, neck injuries are serious, meaning he may not play again this year. The Giants are on a bye in Week 9, but Brown will be one of the hotter waiver wire pickups during the week as he nears his return.
