New England Patriots running back Shane Vereen (broken wrist) practice with the team on Wednesday, according to a report by ESPN's Field Yates. Vereen is eligible to return in Week 11, when the Patriots take on the Carolina Panthers.
Shane Vereen practices Wednesday, set to return to fantasy lineups in Week 11
The Patriots running back has resumed practicing with the team and is right on schedule for a Week 11 return. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Vereen broke his wrist in the first week of the season against the rival Buffalo Bills. Since that time, the Patriots have used a combination of Stevan Ridley, LeGarrette Blount and Brandon Bolden in the backfield with Ridley getting the bulk of the carries.
Vereen is regarded as an excellent pass catcher and he can handle a considerable amount of carries. Coming into the season he was considered number one on the team’s depth chart at the running back position, even though coach Bill Belichick likes to run a committee system at times.
Vereen should be scooped up in fantasy leagues now if he is still available. He managed to run for 101 yards and added seven catches for 58 yards in Week 1 and although his wrist injury may hamper his ability to hold onto the football initially, it won’t affect his ability to run.
