Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Da'Rick Rogers is still on the practice squad, being passed over for Griff Whalen following the team's placement of Reggie Wayne on injured reserve. Whalen was promoted to the active roster on Tuesday, bringing the current crop of receivers to Darrius Heyward-Bey, T.Y. Hilton, LaVon Brazill and David Reed, in addition to Whalen.
Da’Rick Rogers passed over for roster spot, likely won’t impact fantasy until 2014
Da’Rick Rogers was passed over for a roster spot again. We break down the fantasy implications.

There was some thought that Rogers might be the player to earn the roster spot, given his pre-draft hype and skillset. However, it's been disappointment after disappointment for Rogers, who went undrafted for various reasons before being bounced out of Buffalo Bills training camp.
It’s unclear where Rogers stands at this point, but once considered a sleeper breakout candidate, it doesn’t look like he’ll be doing much of anything this season. Stephen Holder of the Indianapolis Star seems to think that Whalen knows the offense better and that Rogers simply isn’t ready.
Fantasy Impact: Rogers was considered a player that could come in and play right away before the draft, but that’s been thrown out the window at this point. He wasn’t recommended as a player to grab early on in fantasy or anything like that, but he was pegged as a player who could do some damage if he did see the field. It doesn’t look like that is going to happen, though.
