Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles missed practice on Wednesday due to a sore knee, according to Adam Teicher of ESPN. Charles did sustain a knee injury during the team's Week 8 matchup against the Cleveland Browns, but returned to the game and it seems more like a rest day than anything else.
Jamaal Charles misses practice, fantasy owners shouldn’t worry
Jamaal Charles missed practice for the Kansas City Chiefs on Wednesday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Of course, Charles has an extensive history with injuries. Fantasy owners have to worry every time he misses practice, even on Wednesdays and even at the assurance that they are, in fact, veteran rest days. Drafting him comes with the constant worry that he’ll end up injured, but all signs point to him being just fine at the moment.
Charles has been playing very well for the undefeated Chiefs. Against the Browns, he carried the ball 18 times for 74 yards and caught five passes for 46 yards. He has 635 yards and six touchdowns on the ground and 383 yards with two touchdowns through the air.
Fantasy Impact: As stated, fantasy owners have to worry about Charles any time he misses practice, but this really does seem like a rest day more than anything. If he happens to miss time on Thursday or Friday, then there will be cause for panic. As it stands, however, Charles remains a must-start heading into a Week 9 matchup against the Buffalo Bills.
