Miles Austin misses practice, fantasy value hitting rock bottom
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin missed practice on Wednesday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Austin played through the injury early on in the season, but missed the team's Week 4 and 5 matchups against the San Diego Chargers and Denver Broncos. He then returned for two games, and missed the teams Week 8 matchup against the Detroit Lions, a narrow 31-30 loss.
Even when he's playing, Austin has struggled this season. He's caught 15 passes for 125 yards with no touchdowns. Terrance Williams took his spot in the lineup when he was injured, and he's flourished. Williams has caught 26 passes for 444 yards and four touchdowns as the No. 2 receiver. Austin may not be able to re-gain his starting role when he returns.
Fantasy Impact: Austin has been a disaster for fantasy owners this season. He’s played poorly, he’s been hurt and it doesn’t look to be getting any better. It would not be surprising if he missed the team’s Week 9 matchup and if so, it would be surprising for him to overtake Williams in the lineup when he does return. He’s not even a solid WR4 option at this point. It might be time to move on for fantasy owners.
