The St. Louis Rams are sticking with Kellen Clemens as their starting quarterback heading into Week 9, according to ESPN. Clemens made the start for an injured Sam Bradford on Monday against the Seattle Seahawks.
Kellen Clemens to start in Week 9, fantasy value low
Kellen Clemens will start for the St. Louis Rams in Week 9. We break down the fantasy implications.

The Rams managed to stick around in that game, losing 14-9 in the end, but Clemens' play was hardly a reason for that. He completed just 15-of-31 passes (48.4 percent) for 158 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions. It was a poor performance, and some questioned whether or not the team might go with Austin Davis or somebody else at quarterback this week.
Still, Clemens is a veteran and should have a stronger grasp on the offense than Davis at this point. Clemens might give the team its best chance to win at this point. Brady Quinn will be the No. 3 quarterback behind Clemens and Davis.
Fantasy Impact: You have to be in a pretty bad position to be considering Clemens for your fantasy team. It's a tough task to name a starting quarterback who Clemens would out-perform in fantasy at this point. If you're looking for a waiver wire option to cover a bye week, someone like Jason Campbell would be a better option. Clemens doesn't hold much value at all.
