Buffalo Bills quarterback Thad Lewis was held out of practice for the second day in a row. Head coach Doug Marrone says that he is "50-50" to play in Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Lewis is dealing with rib injuries and an illness after taking a beating in last week's loss to the New Orleans Saints.
Thad Lewis ‘50-50’ for Week 9, fantasy owners continue to wait
Thad Lewis missed practice again Thursday and Doug Marrone says he’s 50-50 for Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

If Lewis is unable to play, the Bills will start either Jeff Tuel or Matt Flynn at quarterback. Through three games, Lewis completed 60 percent of his passes for 652 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions.
Fantasy impact: There’s no serious indication that Lewis will miss the game, although missing two straight practices is concerning. We should have a better idea of his status when the injury reports come out on Friday. Lewis has been a fairly decent fantasy option for owners in bye-week crunches, but he’s not a recommended play against the Chiefs defense at less than 100 percent.
