Speaking in a Sirius radio interview, Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll confirmed that wide receiver Percy Harvin will not play versus the Buccaneers on Sunday.
Percy Harvin will not play vs. Buccaneers, can remain benched in fantasy leagues
The Seahawks will have to wait another week to see what Percy Harvin can contribute to the team’s offense. We break down the fantasy implications.

Harvin recently began practicing with the team after suffering a torn labrum in his hip, and appeared to be on track to suit up versus the Rams last Sunday. However, in his first week back from practice, Harvin suffered a setback and was unable to resume his comeback. That very setback has now kept him out of action for an additional week.
Fantasy Spin: Looks like fantasy owners will have to wait at least another week for Harvin's return. Nine weeks into the season, Harvins' year is bordering on "lost," and it's a mystery to what extent he will play when he does return to action. He could potentially be on a snap count, and in wake of an injury, it's feasible that Harvin does not have the same explosiveness that made him a fantasy stud with the Minnesota Vikings.
Harvin’s upside will always make him worth a stash, but only in leagues with deep benches. Fantasy owners need to continue exercising patience, and must temper expectations of what he will contribute upon his return.
