It was another accurate display from Drew Brees in Week 5. The Saints' star quarterback completed 29-of-35 passes for 288 yards and two touchdowns against the Bears in Chicago, leading New Orleans to a 5-0 record with a 26-18 win.
Drew Brees delivers another solid fantasy day
Drew Brees picked up most of his points in the first half of Week 5’s game. We break down the fantasy implications.

Brees threw both touchdowns in the first half and looked like he would easily eclipse 300 yards on the afternoon. The Saints eased off a bit in the second half with a huge lead, though, while the Bears made some adjustments to stop some of the downfield throws.
Fantasy impact: It was a surgical effort, and if the Saints had been in a closer game, Brees likely would have done more damage. Still, he didn’t turn the ball over and racked up enough points in the first half to keep fantasy owners pleased.
The Saints take on the Patriots next week. New England's defense has been middle-of-the-road this season, so Brees should continue to roll along with his 20+ point performances. If the Patriots get Rob Gronkowski back, they should be able to put enough pressure on the Saints to keep attempting to move the ball all game long.
