Jay Cutler completed 24-of-33 passes for 358 yards and two touchdowns in the Bears' 26-18 loss to the Saints in Week 5. Chicago trailed, 23-7, midway through the third quarter, leaving Cutler and his offense to pass constantly throughout the afternoon.
Jay Cutler puts up solid fantasy numbers in Week 5
The Bears fell behind early against the Saints, leaving Jay Cutler to throw all day long. We break down the fantasy implications.

The Saints brought pressure early and often, and they finished with three sacks and six hits on Cutler. His offensive line settled down in the second half, but the woes toward the beginning of the game forced the Bears to abandon the run.
Fantasy impact: Of course Cutler's owners don't care too much about offensive balance. He outscored Drew Brees in Week 5 while trying to mount a comeback against the Saints. Cutler hit Alshon Jeffery 10 times for 218 yards and a touchdown. He might have a new favorite target with Brandon Marshall seeing so much attention.
The Bears play the winless Giants (0-5) in Week 6, which is a recipe for monster fantasy points all around. Cutler has been solid so far in 2013, and he's a great option to start if you need a fill-in next week.
