Jay Cutler was going to the air often in the second half of Week 5, and Alshon Jeffery benefited. We break down the fantasy implications.

Jeffery caught his lone score on a 3-yard fade from Jay Cutler at the goal line. He saw a few other red-zone targets throughout the rest of the afternoon and became the go-to receiver in the Bears' passing game.
Fantasy impact: Marc Trestman has done wonders for the fantasy value of Bears not named Brandon Marshall. Jeffery is a viable starter in all formats at this point, as Cutler continues to target him often while Marshall sees double coverage.
The Bears take on the Giants in Week 6. Everyone in the starting lineup is probably worth starting. Expect another solid game for Jeffery against one of the worst defenses the NFL has seen in quite some time. As long as Marshall continues to demand plenty of attention and the Bears keep protecting Cutler, Jeffery could shape up to be a WR2 every week.
