Trent Richardson rushed for 56 yards on 18 carries against the Seahawks in Week 5. Along with his 3.1 yards per carry, he was targeted one time by Andrew Luck and did not record a catch.
Trent Richardson grinds out a mediocre fantasy Week 5
One Colts running back ran the ball well against the Seahawks. It was not Trent Richardson. We break down the fantasy implications.

Donald Brown came on to rush for 37 yards and a touchdown on six carries, averaging twice as many yards per carry than Richardson. Brown was taking goal-line carries in the fourth quarter with the game in crunch time.
Fantasy impact: Owners can't be too happy with Richardson, but the fact that Brown is getting meaningful carries is likely more frustrating. It's hard to believe he was the one taking the handoff at the goal line with the Colts needing a touchdown.
Richardson is still becoming accustomed to his new offense. However, he continues to grind out games and struggle to create any kind of separation. Through five games this season, he's averaging just over three yards per carry. The Colts play the Chargers next week, one of the worst teams against the run. If Richardson can't manage a better performance, it might be time to start actually worrying about him.
