The Green Bay Packers found themselves in a quarterback lurch after losing Aaron Rodgers to a broken collarbone. They anointed veteran Seneca Wallace the starter for Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles, but Wallace injured his groin in the first quarter. That forced Green Bay to turn to Scott Tolzien, who was just promoted off the practice squad and has never played in the NFL before.
Fantasy football waiver wire advice, Week 11: Scott Tolzien
Scott Tolzien was thrust into action in Week 10 and didn’t actually do that bad. Can fantasy owners count on him this week?

Surprisingly, Tolzien did okay for himself. He completed 24-of-39 passes for 280 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in the losing effort. The Packers will be going with Tolzien as the starter against the New York Giants.
Fantasy impact: Tolzien is one of the biggest coin flips this week, but he certainly offers more upside than Wallace, whose arm velocity and athleticism is shot. He’ll get a full week of practice with the first team and has a friendly matchup against the Giants weak defense. Fantasy owners shouldn’t start him yet, but he’s worth claiming on waiver wires as a roster stash until Rodgers comes back.
