San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis (concussion) was allowed to lift weights and ride an exercise bike on Tuesday, according to a report by Andrew Pentis for the 49ers' official website. Although he has not been cleared to play yet, he saw a neurologist yesterday and was symptom free this morning.
Vernon Davis resumes exercising, start likely for fantasy
The 49ers tight end has resumed working out after suffering a concussion in Week 10. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: There's no doubt Davis is the best pass catcher that Colin Kaepernick has at his disposal right now. He's the only tight end worth mentioning among the likes of the New Orleans Saints' Jimmy Graham and the New England Patriots Rob Gronkowski given his penchant for fantasy production.
That said, concussion are always treated with caution and although Davis reports now memory loss or balance issues, it should be noted he suffered a concussion at the end of last season too.
All in all, the tell-tale sign of whether or not he’ll actually be able to play against the Saints in Week 11 is whether or not he’s able to practice on Wednesday.
Fantasy owners should monitor the situation throughout the week. But generally speaking, Davis is expected to be ready to go.
