Fantasy Impact: Reports earlier in the season suggested that Austin might not return to the Cowboys lineup at all this year, especially with rookie Terrance Williams supplanting Austin on the team's depth chart.
However, it looks like the situation may have changed. Although Williams is scoring touchdowns on a regular basis, he's not being targeted that much by quarterback Tony Romo.
Touchdowns are good for fantasy points, but in real-world play, a receiver has to have a good rapport with his quarterback and be more accessible than Williams has been of late.
That reality leaves the door open for Austin, who has been far from a top fantasy producer this year, but is still much more experienced than Williams in playing with Romo.
It remains to be seen which of the two will start opposite Dez Bryant in Week 12.
