Matt Ryan completed 30-of-39 passes for 292 yards in Week 12’s matchup with the New Orleans Saints. He failed to throw a touchdown pass for the first time in 2013. Ryan hadn’t finished without a passing score since Nov. 18 of last season.
Matt Ryan disappoints fantasy owners again
The Falcons only scored one touchdown in Week 12. It was not from Matt Ryan. We break down the fantasy implications.

Despite what looks like a somewhat impressive performance on paper, Ryan checked down constantly throughout the night. He spread the ball around to multiple receivers, but failed to push the ball downfield.
Fantasy impact: Are you still starting Ryan in your lineup? It’s probably time to let that idea go. He hasn’t been himself in 2013 after the loss of Julio Jones. His offensive line continues to struggle in pass protection, and even when they do provide time in the pocket, Ryan has been apt to make poor decisions.
The Falcons face the Bills next week. Buffalo is quietly sitting just outside the top 10 in pass defense this season. Don’t expect much from Ryan next week, either.
